Overview of the BlueArray Project
A new paradigm of underwater optical wireless communication (UOWC) systems, empowered by world-leading blue light phased arrays.
Our vision
- Pioneering a reliable and high-performance UOWC system on a chip, leveraging breakthrough photonic and electronic integrated solutions.
- Enabling next-gen underwater optical wireless networks, and the exploration and sustainable use of the vast and largely unexplored underwater environment via Internet of Underwater Things (IoUT).
Objectives
- We aim to develop integrated blue optical phased arrays (OPAs) based transmitter and receiver for reliable and mobile UOWC system.
- We target high data rate, long range, compact size and low power consumption.
